Some storms systems don’t give warning – but FlexSCADA can help protect your equipment and even notify you when a micro-climate event takes place.  FlexSCADA can utilize autonomous remote switches activated by wind speed sensors and other meteorological equipment.  This strategy can save small wind turbines from going over speed in storms helping to insure their survival and your investment.

Mission Critical Energy Automatic Remote Stop-Switch (MCE-ARS) provides a means to remotely shut down a wind turbine based on environmental conditions. When combined with a FlexSCADA Q5 and a wind speed indicator (such as the Anemoment TriSonica™ Mini Wind and Weather Sensor) any wind turbine can be made fully autonomous, providing the user with peace of mind that the system will remain protected unsupervised during the harshest conditions. User selectable to work with 24 VDC or 48 VDC systems, the MCE-ARS builds on the success of the early versions of the SW35x-ARS, while improving on the design, functionality and stability of the device.

The MCE-ARS measures 4.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.
